Collection: QUIET

In the past two decades, Michael has spent thousands of hours under the waters surface documenting the amazing worlds and the beasts that reside there, which few get face to face with and walk away unscathed.  For the QUIET body of work which opened in 2006, Michael turned his lens to a handful of beauties that collectively created these images to benefit The Art of Elysium, an organization that Michael has worked with for almost 20 years. Eva Mendez, Penelope Cruz, Kirsty Hume and Kirsten Dunst joined Michael in the quiet atmosphere underwater. Along with half a dozen Olympic swimmers and the Olympic Synchronized Swim team who not only performed for his camera but performed at the opening night of The Esquire House in Beverly Hills.  Back to back for nine years Michael photographed  the top Olympians for Speedo including Michael Phelps, Amanda Beard, Natalie Laughlin and many others pushing the the boundaries of whats capable, creatively, twenty leagues under the surface. A portion of every QUIET print sold will be donated to The Art of Elysium which brings arts into children’s hospitals around the country.
